My Bio
I was born at a very young age, never thought girls were icky, lived in Mexico from ages 7 to 13, discovered role-playing games, dreamed of being a filmmaker, had those dreams crushed by real life and refuse to die. I have been a de facto atheist since age 14 but got a head start on the process 10 years earlier. I don't drink, don't smoke and do not use recreational drugs. I am a skeptic, and I am in constant awe and wonder at the majesty and mystery of the universe in which I am lucky enough to live.

Going Under

Down under where the lights are low To a place where all the mutants go Doing things I never did before Inside out and coming back for more Little girl with the full red lips Never knew it could be like this You put me in a situation Going through soft-core mutation DEVO -- "Going Under", from the album New Traditionalists (1981) I love cyberpunk.   I have loved cyberpunk since before I really knew what it was, before I read Neuromancer, before -- hell, before I even played R. Talsorian's role-playing game, back when it was in a box, before the 2.0.2.0 edition.  Let's say since 1989, if not before. Something ab

Nowhere Fast

I have no idea how anything happens, anymore. So I went on a tear and uploaded some of my old fiction, because you can actually do that on DeviantArt -- plus I have some of it sitting around on CD-ROMs, little burns in plastic, doing nothing.  What the hell, I figured...maybe someone'll stumble on it, get a kick. In 2 days, one of my bits of fiction (one that's not even finished, for Asimov's sake) gets featured by eight (eight!) fiction groups here on the Deviant Arts that the kids tweet-mail about.  Is this common?  Is the story really that good?  Is there one person who belongs to all 8 groups, sending out the requests to me over and ove

I create.  I struggle with creation.  I continue anyway.  Life is too short.

Cyberpunk and 80's music go together like Simon and Garfunkel. Heaven.
 Thanks for the fav :+fav:
I thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the watch. I'd call you 'Doc' but then I'd be tempted to call you 'Doctor' and then that would just make me think of Doctor Who, and that would just be weird. You're not a Time Lord. Are you?
